Zoella Beauty Jelly & Gelato Collection Review Shower Sauce Shower Shake Bath Fizzer Gelat'eau Body Mist
I was lucky enough to receive what was just about the cutest PR package ever containing some of the products from Zoella's new Jelly & Gelato bath collection, which is currently available at Target. Zoella is know for her beautiful budget products and simply adorable packaging and this collection certainly fits the bill.

Even before I opened the box I smelled the gorgeous fresh, scent of the products. To me it smells a bit citrusy like grapefruit but apparently it is a blend of elderflower and pomegranate. Either way, it smells amazing. It is a very summer appropriate scent that is fruity without being sickly sweet.

Seriously, the cutest PR package ever!
Zoella Shower Sauce $9

This is actually my favourite product in the range. It has the same lovely bright, summery fruit scent and creates a rich lather, which I really like in my shower gels. Yes, I know lather means sulphates but I don't find this dries my skin out and it leaves me clean with a great fragrance. I tend to like using a loofah in the shower and this is the perfect shower gel for that. I has also lasted really well with daily use and I am definitely going to grab another one once it runs out because it smells great and it is really affordable.

Zoella Shower Shake $12

This one is actually a really odd texture that I didn't like at first but I really changed my mind.  It is a cream texture that doesn't lather up and really isn't well suited to using a loofah as I usually do. Because it is a cream formula that is much more moisturising. I love using it with my exfoliating glove when I prep for my fake tan because it leaves my skin nicely moisturised and has that same amazing scent. If you do a lot of scrubbing for fake tanning or just generally have drier skin, this one might be right up your alley.

Zoella Pink Bath Wafers $10

Unfortunately, these missed the mark quite a bit for me. Although the package smelled great and they are fairly affordable at $10 for two uses, they fizzled for me. When I put one half in the bath, nothing really happened. They didn't fizz much at all and even after a good couple of minutes, it was still very much a solid chunk. I had to crumble it up in my hands just to disperse it through the water. Then after all that effort, it didn't leave the bath particularly scented or moisturising. I would definitely rather spend the extra dollar per bath and get a Lush Butterball ($5.95), which is super moisturising.

Zoella Gelat'Eau Body Mist $20
This product is actually a little steeper in price compared to the rest of the range but it does come in a quite luxe ceramic bottle which makes it feel a bit fancier. I tend not to really like body mists because the scent doesn't really last and this one is no different. I definitely prefer spending a bit more on perfumes that actually last through the day because this one only really sticks around for an hour or two. That said, it is a really gorgeous scent with elderflower, which is perfect for summer. If you don't mind the shorter longevity of body mists, you might really like it.

Long story short, I really liked the shower gel and cream, hated the bath fizzers and was a bit meh on the body mist. I would definitely recommend picking up the Shower Sauce if you want an affordable shower gel that smells amazing, especially for the summer. This Zoella range is really adorable and some of the products are great so it's worth taking a look at next time you are in Target.

Disclaimer: I received these products as PR gifts but there was no obligation to review them or say nice things. As always, my opinions are my own.

  1. I love the look of these as well, and as far as I know, Zoella Beauty is cruelty free so I can use it! I’ll be in need of a new shower gel once my LUSH Comforter runs out so I might pick this up.

  2. I had the same experience with the bath wafers - they were the first product I tried from Zoella and I was really disappointed.

  3. Aw, looks like the cutest PR package! Love how real you were with your reviews though. I'd try the shower gel but I think I may give the others a miss now. Thanks for the post!
