Who isn't on the lookout for the perfect nude lip? I tried these amazing L'Oreal products recently and I'm pretty much in love. Whether you just want to wear a lipstick by itself, cheat fuller lips with a bit of liner or do the whole trio, these products will give you a gorgeous pinky nude lip.
L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Liner Couture in Beige Á Nu $15.95
A good nude lip liner is hard to find. My all time favourite lip liner is Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk ($35) and this is actually a pretty close shade match; one might even say they are dupes. The formula is a little different though. The L'Oreal is much more creamy and more like a lipstick. This means it goes on smoothly and feels very comfortable, but it isn't as long lasting as more dry formulas. For me that is a worthy trade off because I hate dry lips. This is a really nice lip liner and it's a very flattering shade that would suit pretty much everyone.
L'Oreal Colour Riche Matte Addiction Lipstick in 103 Blush in Rush $21.95
This new lipstick has been pretty popular on Instagram and it is easy to see why. I am the first to admit I couldn't get behind the matte liquid lipstick trend because I just found them so uncomfortable! These matte lipsticks on the other hand are a very comfortable alternative. You sacrifice a bit of the longevity but it is so worth it. Blush in a Rush is a warm peachy pink nude that is actually really pretty. It is very flattering and I have seen it look amazing on so many different skin tones.
L'Oreal Infallible Long Wear Lip Gloss in 103 Protest Queen $21.95
I have really liked this gloss formula since it was first released (I reviewed a few other shades here) and I really like this newer cream version. It is a cooler pink nude that is very comfortable to wear and layers nicely over lipstick with absolutely no sticky feeling. It has a really nice medium pigmentation level, which means you could wear it alone or over lipstick and/or liner.
Here is just the lip liner on the lips. As you can see it applies really smoothly and doesn't grab anywhere at all. It is a perfect my lips but better shade for me and you could totally wear it on its own.
With the Blush in a Rush lipstick layered over the top, it looks very polished and opaque. As you can see, it isn't overly matte but it certainly isn't glossy or even really satin either.
And finally, here is a lip swatch with the liner, lipstick and lip gloss all applied together for an opaque, full lip. Even with all three layers on, it is still very comfortable and totally wearable as an everyday lip.
So what do you think of my new favourite nude lip combo? L'Oreal has really been hitting it out of the park lately in my opinion. All of these live up to the quality of the more expensive high end products in my collection. Don't forget that with an eagle eye for sales, you can get L'Oreal for 50% off, which makes them really affordable and amazing value for money. Let me know in the comments below if you have already picked up any of these or if you will after reading this post. Also, what is your favourite lip product or L'Oreal product at the moment?
Disclaimer: I paid for all of these products myself. As always, my opinions are my own.
