L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara Review Photos Swatches Before and After
After hearing all the crazy hype about this mascara I simply had to order it online and I have to say, I was not disappointed. The new L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara has quickly become a cult favourite and it is easy to see why. Just take one look at the before and after photos and I'm pretty sure it will shoot to the top of your wishlist too!

So, as most Aussies will know, L'Oreal Australia is so bloody slow to release the super hyped products here. We still don't have the Pro Glow range and we aren't getting the Balmain Lipsticks until next year, which I am particularly annoyed about. I contacted their PR team and they said the Lash Paradise mascara wasn't coming out here until next year. Of course, I couldn't wait that long so I ordered it on eBay for about $25, which wasn't too bad. I figured that is about what it will retail for when it arrives anyway. It took a while to get here but it was so worth it and I will probably be ordering a new one the second mine runs out.

When I applied the first coat for the first time, I liked it but I wasn't super wowed. The second coat made me fall in love though! This mascara layers so well to build tons of separation, volume and length. It gives me everything I want from a mascara! You can just keep building and building because this is a dryer formula and it doesn't look like a spidery, smudgy mess at all.

The brush is a larger hourglass shape with tons of little bristles that really get between the lashes to separate. Of course, we have to address the elephant in the room... it is clearly trying to look like the insanely popular Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara ($33). I think I am the only one who doesn't like the Too Faced mascara. I seriously hate it! Although it does give a lot of volume, it is one of the only mascara that smudges like crazy beneath my eyes. I am happy to report though that this Lash Paradise mascara is totally smudge free. While the brush and packaging are similar, I think the formula and effects are far better! I actually like that they have redone the packaging in Europe because it is better than the Too Faced mascara; it doesn't need to play imitation! It lasts really well throughout the day and the most I have seen is a few tiny flakes that are easily swept away, but that is only when I accidentally rubbed my eyes or had been wearing it for 12+ hours.

It is easier to let the pictures do the talking and these photos certainly do!
Bare lashes.
One coat.

Two coats.
So as you can see, it builds serious lashes and it really is very fuss free. I don't find it gets clumpy even at the third coat thanks to the dryer formula. It really is my new favourite and it even eclipses higher end mascaras I have tried. Long story short, believe the hype! This mascara is amazing!

Disclaimer: I paid for this product myself. As always, my opinions are my own.

    1. Me too! I am still waiting for the Pro Glow foundation and I'm so annoyed that we won't get the Balmain lipsticks until next year. I think all drugstore brands are bad for taking so long to bring products to Australia but L'Oreal is the most frustrating at the moment because they just have so many great, cult products right now that we can't get :'(

    1. Sadly not, but you can order it on eBay like I did. It won't come out until next year in Australia.

    1. OMG me too! I think we are all getting frustrated with L'Oreal at the moment. I would never buy high end makeup on eBay because there is so much fake stuff but I figure I'm pretty safe with L'Oreal.
