- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Colour in Strobe Light $6.95: This is actually a really pretty and unique pink and gold glitter with different sized glitter. It is also one of the cheapest on the list so that is a win! It isn’t as opaque as some of the others, but is still very buildable.
- Butter London 3-Free Nail Lacquer in Tart With A Heart ($20.40 with free shipping to Australia): I think this may by my ultimate favourite on this list. Out of all of these glitters, I have used this one the most by far because it is just so different. It is a bright pink and gold holo glitter that is really eye catching. Pictures never do this one justice and it is also quite opaque in 2-3 coats, which is fantastic for a glitter polish. It is also unfortunately the most expensive on the list but sometimes you have to treat yo’ self.
- Essie Nail Polish in A Cut Above $16.95: This is an old Essie favourite that I love to wear with all my pink, mauve and greige polishes and, let’s face it, those are the shades I wear 90% of the time. It isn’t particularly dense but it can be built up. I usually just apply one light coat of this glitter which looks fantastic.
- O.P.I. Nail Laquer in True Stefani Fashion $16.95 – Any holosexuals out there? This is an absolutely perfect holo glitter top coat which has two different sized glitter. On closer inspection only the larger glitter flecks are holo and the smaller are just silver glitter but in any case, it is beautiful. It is quite easily buildable too. I thought this was a limited edition polish but you can still order it online.
- Revlon Nail Polish in Sequins: This reminds me a lot of the Essie A Cut Above, just in gold. It definitely isn’t as buildable though, as you can see from the nail swatches. This one looks fantastic with all my vampy red and black polishes! I can't find it online but I always see it in Chemists so just have a hunt around.
- Essence The Gel Polish in On Air! $3.25: I was totally blown away by how amazing this one was for the price. It easily lives up to the quality of these other much higher end polishes for a fraction of the price. It is also incredibly opaque, even just with one coat. In two coats, it is a perfectly solid gold glitter. I also really love the slightly muted gold tone of it. I hope it is still available.
There you have my absolute favourite accent glitter polishes. Any one of these will liven up an otherwise boring mani with almost no extra effort. I would love to know what your favourite glitter polishes are because I’m always on the look out for more, so leave me a comment down below.
Gorgeous picks Emma! My fave glitter polish is by Mermaid Julisa - Blood Moon. It's amazing :)
