I have been trying out these new Brow Drama Pomade Crayons ($14.95) from Maybelline recently. I am still a really big fan of the Maybelline Brow Satin ($16.95) so I was keen to see if these ones stacked up.
The formula is quite different from the Brow Satin crayon, and is a lot softer. It really lives up to the pomade name. In a way it is a little bit like the potted pomades like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow ($32), just in crayon form. As convenient as the crayon is, it didn't allow me to get the precise application I really like when I use my typical brow brush. That said though, it did give me a nice everyday brow look with minimal fuss. If you are looking for something to apply quickly and easily to fill basic gaps for a natural brow look, this might be the one for you.
I also really liked the pigmentation of these. They aren't very pigmented which made it easy and fool proof too apply. It also blended beautifully with a quick brush through with a spoolie. It lasted well throughout the day, granted not as long as waterproof formulas like the Anastasia Beverley Hill Dip Brow.
All in all, I really like these. For special occasions when I want a really precise brow this won't be the one I reach for but for everyday natural brows for minimal fuss, I will definitely keep reaching for it. If you would like to pick it up, The Chemist Warehouse has 50% off all cosmetics, including Maybelline, until the 29th of September, 2016. Let me know what you think of this one if you do end up trying it out because I would love to hear your thoughts.
Disclaimer: I received these as complementary PR samples but as always, my opinions are always my own.

I was thinking these may be a bit thick to get precision which is what put me off from trying them. I have considered just dipping my brow brush in to the crayon to see if that works?? They look really good on your brows!! <3
