July Favourites

Friday, 29 July 2016
My recent haul from Sephora means that I found plenty of new favourites this month. Actually, I found so many great new products recently that it was hard to narrow it down for this months favourites. Here is which amazing products made the cut...

Maybelline by Face Studio Master Fix Wear-Boosting Setting Spray $15.95
I recently reviewed this saying plenty of nice things and my love for this new setting has only increased since then. I haven't even touched my Skindinavia Finishing Spray since getting this one because I really think it is just as good and it costs a fraction of the price! I will be repurchasing this the second it runs out and probably stockpiling it at the next Maybelline half price sale.

Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette $89
Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette review
In my full review this week I mentioned that I was really unsure when I purchased this one but I am so glad I did! The Prosecco Pop shade doesn't suit me as I thought but I love Champagne Pop and the two pink blush shades which makes this palette more than worth it for me. It is an excellent value way to try out 5 different products from Becca all in a absolutely gorgeous looking palette. It is still in stock on the Sephora Australia website so if you have been considering it, I would definitely recommend you order it.

Tarte Tartelette Palette in Bloom Amazonian Clay Palette $82
Tarte Tartlette Palette in Bloom Amazonian Clay review
Don't even get me started on the fact that this palette is $82 online and only $69 in store - definitely try and get into a store if you can! That negative aside, this palette is absolutely gorgeous! I love it even more than I love the original Tartelette palette. The mattes are even more pigmented in my opinion and the shimmers are incredible. I honestly think this is one of the best versatile everyday neutral palettes out there so you should definitely check it out. If you would like a more in depth review with heaps of swatches, I posted one here

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer $38
it cosmetics bye bye under eye full coverage anti-aging waterproof concealer review
I said in my very recent Concealer Showdown that this new addition to my collection has quickly become my favourite. It is intensely pigmented, super creamy and blends like a dream. Because I have very pale skin, my under eye area is almost transparent which makes it very dark and purple even if I am getting 10 hours of sleep a night. It is extremely frustrating but this concealer is a lifesaver that I love just as much, if not more than my old favourite Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer ($43). If you are in need of a new under eye concealer, this one should definitely be on your radar.

Tom Ford Lip Colour in 12 Nude Vanille $78
Tom Ford Lip Colour lipstick in 12 Nude Vanille review
Trust me, I know this is obscenely expensive and I pretty sure it has even gone up 3 bucks since I bought mine last month which is nuts. Either way though, it was one of those holy grail items I have always wanted to own, kind of like a Chanel handbag or something like that, so I really just wanted to make the splurge. I haven't regretted it at all though because it is a absolutely beautiful lipstick formula. The shade has been incredible as well and really is the perfect peachy nude for my light skin that I have spent years looking for. Of course, nobody needs an eight dollar lipstick but if you want treat yo'self this is a gorgeous option.

So there you have my favourites for this month. I am sorry there is only one drugstore item here but considering I went to the Sephora opening this month, got my tax return and had my birthday, it was bound to happen. I love each and every one of these new discoveries and I would wholeheartedly recommend all of them. I would love to know what you have been loving this month so let me know below.

    1. Yes! You need it! It is definitely my new daily favourite. I don't think I have picked up the original Tartlette palette since I bought it.

    1. You really can't! I didn't like the smell of the Maybelline at first but I don't even really notice it anymore. Thanks for reading :)

    1. Oh no, that sucks. It is worth the extended search, I promise. I think we are all a little obsessed with the Becca palette at the moment.
