For the longest time, thanks to my super pale skin, my concealer options have basically been limited to the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I never minded because it is an excellent concealer but it is always nice to try new things and let's face it, the Nars concealer is hella expensive at $43. Here is a rundown of the current concealers in my collection at the moment that I have been using recently.

I am lucky enough to have left my breakout days behind me so I always use my concealers to conceal my terrible dark under eye area. For that reason, I tend to like really high coverage yet creamy and bendable concealers. I also wanted to mention that I have also had the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer for ages but I really don't like it and it sits in the bottom of a drawer which is why I forgot to include it. It is no great loss though because it really doesn't look natural and skin like in my opinion, especially compared to some of these other options.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Light 1 Chantilly $43

This is a cult favourite product for a reason. It packs an exceptionally high coverage for such a thin, blendable formula. It illuminates as it covers but still looks beautifully skin like. It will always be one of my favourites, especially since I was devoted it for so long as the only good concealer I could find to match my skin tone. I love this for the under eye and also for general face highlight because it is slightly radiant and very natural looking on the skin. In the rare times I have used it to cover a spot it also worked exceptionally well too, although it doesn't last as well through the day as my Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage ($55) which has a drier, longer lasting formula.

Sephora Collection High Coverage Concealer in 06 Light Beige $23

I had high hopes for this concealer because it is so much cheaper than the Nars but sadly it let me down. It initially looks quite opaque but it doesn't blend out very nicely and the coverage kind of dissipated as I blended it. All in all, it didn't do much for my dark circles and didn't make much of a noticeable difference. I wouldn't really recommend it considering Maybelline make such fantastic concealers at a lower price point (if you aren't cursed with a skin tone well outside drugstore range) or you could spend the extra $15 for a exceptionally better concealer like the one below.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging Concealer in Light $38

This is the first product I have ever tried from It Cosmetics and I am in love! I definitely need to try more. I may just like it more than my old favourite Nars. It is a really thick creamy concealer that offers spectacular coverage while still being easily blendable. I also love that it feels really moisturising. If you are in the market for a new under eye concealer, buy this one! There is no way you will regret it because it is amazing! I had heard good things which is why I bought it, but it exceeded all my expectations. Out of my ridiculously massive $500+ haul from the Sephora opening, I am pretty sure this is my favourite product which is really saying something.

Left to right: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly, Sephora Collection High Coverage Concealer in Light Beige and It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer in Light.
So there you have my round up of my current concealers. The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is still a firm favourite of mine but there is definitely a new kid on the block. I could not have been more impressed by my new It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye and I particularly love that it is has better and more hygienic packaging, a larger volume of product and all at a slightly cheaper price. Let me know what your favourite under eye concealer is and if you will be trying any of these out. Also, what should I buy next from It Cosmetics because this concealer has made me really keen to try more from the brand.

  1. I'm so ridiculously lazy when it comes to concealer! I don't really own a proper one for blemish coverups, just under eye concealer hahah x

    1. I am actually the same. I'm lucky enough to not have a lot of blemishes so foundation is enough for me but my under eye area makes me look like a zombie :/
