skincare winter skin care body favourite recommendation
To follow up from my winter skincare face recommendations, here are some of my favourite ultra moisturising body products. I always kinda of feel like a flaky snake shedding it's skin in winter but these products always make my skin feel a lot better.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Face and Body Ultra Rich Cleansing Gel $27.99
Nuxe Reve de Miel Face and Body Ultra Rich Cleansing Gel review
I reviewed the Reve de Miel range a while ago and I have been using this cleansing gel as my everyday body wash ever since. If you have dry skin, one of the worst things you can do is use a regular soap because it will seriously strip what is left of your natural skin moisturisation and oils. When I use this in the shower, I step out feeling moisturised, before I even apply any body lotions or creams. It would also be great for the lazy girl who doesn't apply body lotion as often as she should because it is a bit of a two in one though I would still recommend ideally following up with a moisturiser. This one is almost empty but I won't hesitate to repurchase it and I think I really need to try the body lotion in the same range! I am actually really impressed with how long this bottle has lasted considering I catch my boyfriend using it all the time too.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream $18.99

Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream review
I know you are probably sensing a big Nuxe/French Pharmacy trend here but it isn't on purpose, I promise. When I go through my entire bathroom cabinet, these are just the products that consistently come out on top. This hand cream has the same gorgeous honey scent as the cleansing gel and also contains shea butter, vitamin E and heaps of natural oils for some serious moisturisation. This can turn my hands from dry and flaky to beautiful overnight. It is also pretty affordable for a high quality, more luxe hand cream so I would 100% recommend it.

L'Occitane Zesty Lime Hand Cream $14
L'Occitane Zesty Lime Hand Cream review
I actually received this in a Marie Claire Parcel and it has been living in my handbag ever since. I'm not big on citrus scents usually but the lime is actually really nice. This cream is so beautiful and light which makes it a joy to use. It isn't greasy at all and it always revives my hands with just one use which is exactly why I keep it in my bag at all times. I even use it on my legs and arms if I notice them looking flaky and dry when I'm out and about. Considering that, this little tube has lasted ages and there is still tons left. I also love the secure screw top packaging which makes it completely perfect for keeping buried in the bottom of my bag.

Manicare Cuticle Therapy Oil $11.59
Manicare Cuticle Therapy Oil review
I use this absolutely all the time, not just in winter! Every single time I give myself a manicure (which is usually about once a week) I use this to immediately remoisturise my cuticles and nail beds. I'm always so amazed at how much of a difference it makes! In winter I often get awful hangnails that get really sore from where the skin cracks and this always prevents that when I actually remember to use it. If you are always having cuticle issues, definitely check this one out!

Bioderma Atoderm Creme Nourishing Cream $40.99
Bioderma Atoderm Creme Nourishing Cream review
This is defintiely the richest moisturising cream out of all of my suggestions and it is particularly good for very dry and sensitive skin. If you suffer from skin conditions like eczema, this is the one for you. Despite how rich it is, it is actually really quickly absorbed and comfortable to have on. I particularly use this one when I notice my skin is really dry and flaky. My legs go so flaky and powdery all the time and this always brings them back from the brink! It is a more expensive one but this is a huge 500mL bottle and I have used it so many times and only really used up a fifth. It is completely worth it!

Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore Non-Greasy Lotion $4.39
Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore Non-Greasy Lotion review
I wanted to include an easily accessible and more affordable option and this Vaseline lotion is definitely one of my favourites for the price. I find it very moisturising and extremely fast absorbing. It isn't as rich as some of the other but for a 5 dollar lotion, it is amazing. The scent is also lovely and fresh. You can also get it in a spray can which makes application quicker but the one down side is that it feels gold as ice when you spray it on so maybe the normal lotion is better for winter.

I realised as I was finishing this post that I forgot to include my long time favourite Lush Dream Cream ($29.95) which is a fantastic all over body cream that I particularly love to use at night because it has a gorgeous lavender scent. I also want to give my old favourite Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream ($14.99) an honorable mention.

I hope these recommendations help you out over the cold, dry months to come. I would love to know what products you rely on to cure your dry skin as well so let me know in the comments below.
