L'Oreal La Vie en Rose Collection Exclusive Lipsticks

Sunday, 5 June 2016
They are finally here, guys! I have been looking forward to buying these pink collection lipsticks since they were released in America a while ago. I have a few from both the nudes and the reds collection and I absolutely adore the well thought out shade range and the comfortable, high quality formula. These are certainly no exception and even though I haven't had them very long I have already worn them enough to give you the full rundown.

L'Oreal La Vie en Rose Collection Exclusive Lipstick by Eva $21.95
L'Oreal La Vie en Rose Collection Exclusive Lipstick by Eva review
If I had to pick only one from this collection it would definitely be this one which is actually funny because my skin tone is nothing like Eva's. I am incredibly pale with neutral undertones whereas Eva has gorgeous olive skin but that just proves that you don't necessarily have to go with the shade of the L'Oreal Ambassador closest to your skin tone. The shade is a beautiful true mid toned pink and like most of these Colour Riche lipsticks, it is a gorgeous velvet finish and I actually like that it doesn't go on super opaque initially but you can build it up. It means that I can easily use it as a tint beneath lip balm on my light makeup days or build it up for full opacity. As for longevity, it lasts a good few hours and won't survive a meal but that is a price I'm willing to pay for a more comfortable everyday formula.

Even though I tend to gravitate towards more true pinks like Eva on a daily basis, this shades is completely perfect for my colouring! It is a light peachy pink that absolutely stunning on. It is very close to my natural lip colour and will probably become my new "my lips but better" lipstick. Most nudes pull brown on my light skin so this is a gorgeous alternative. The formula and longevity is also very similar to Eva, and after swatching the entire collection in store they are all a velvet finish with buildable opacity. If you are really pale like me though, you need to check this shade out!

I also actually realised when I was looking at my collection that the shades I picked up in this collection perfectly matched the two L'Oreal Infallible Long Wear Lip Glosses I have. If you want to expand your options with a glossy topper gloss for these shades I would definitely recommend these glosses because the formula is amazing. The shade 101 Girl on Top perfectly matches Naomi while 109 Fight For It is a great match for Eva.

These don't seem to be available online anywhere yet but I know that they are in stock in The Chemist Warehouse because that is where I purchased mine from last week. They are also on sale there for 35% off until 12th June, 2016, which brings them down to $14.27 each! I would suggest getting in ASAP because the more wearable and universally appealing shades like these often go really fast with these L'Oreal Collection Exclusive lipsticks.
So there you have my review of the new L'Oreal La Vie en Rose Collection Exclusive Lipsticks. If you are a fan of the other nude and red collections or not, you need to check these out because they are fantastic. Let me know what you shade is your favourite and if you pick these up, I would love to hear what you think about them.
