May favourites monthly Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Moonstone Real Techniques Bold Metals Essence Make Me Brow L'Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss Harlotte Blush Pink Frenzy Maybelline Brow Satin review
May has been and gone again and it is always an interesting month makeup and beauty wise because I find my skin changes a lot as we transition into winter. Here are the makeup products I got the most use out of this month. Note that I haven't included any skincare because I have a massive winter skin master post coming so stay tuned.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Moonstone $50.82 from Adore Beauty

I waited for the longest time to buy this one despite hearing amazing makeup artists like Lisa Eldridge sing it's praises. I am so glad I have it now because it has really upped my base game and I have been basically using it everyday lately. Especially when my skin is dry, I mix a small half pump with my foundation and apply it all over my face which gives me a gorgeous natural dewy glow that really cheats the look of healthy, moisturised skin. You can also use this tapped over the high points of the face as a normal highlighter. I know it is expensive but the bottle is really huge and it is 100% worth it for such a beautiful and versatile product.

Real Techniques Bold Metals 203 Brush $18.27 at iHerb
Real Techniques Bold Metals 203 Brush review
This is actually a newer addition to the Real Techniques Bold Metals line and I'm not even sure if it is at Priceline yet but in any case, it is far cheaper to buy it via iHerb. When iHerb recently had a huge 20% off all Real Techniques I simply had to buy the rest of the Bold Metals collection because they are actually pretty affordable at US pricing with a decent discount code. This was a standout in the eye brushes for me because Real Techniques really needed a tapered blending brush for the crease and outer corner and now they have a great one! The quality is fantastic and of course it looks stunning while also feeling very luxe and high end. The bristles are also very soft and a good density and stiffness so there isn't really anything I can fault this brush on at all. Stay tuned for a full review now that I have the whole Bold Metals collection.

L'Oreal Infallible Long Wear Lip Gloss in 101 Girl on Top $21.95

In my full review I noted that the name of this one isn't accurate because it isn't long wearing at all but it is still a lovely moisturising lip gloss that has quickly become my absolute favourite topper gloss. I particularly find that when I wear pink or peachy nudes that a quick coat of this gloss makes my lip colour really smooth while also plumping up my lips. The formula is really beautiful, as long as you don't have your heart set on it being long wearing, and I find it really comfortable to wear. If you need a new nude gloss, definitely give this one a go.

Harlotte Powder Blush in Frisky Pink $24
Harlotte Powder Blush in Frisky Pink review
Harlotte is a gorgeous independent Australian brand that I have been a really big fan of for a while now. This Frisky Pink blush is a gorgeous matte light pink. I really like the balanced undertones of this too; it has enough warmth in it so that it doesn't pull too Barbie on the face. The formula is blendable and it lasts all day. At $24 I really do think it is a bargain because it is excellent quality, easily comparable to my MAC powder blushes. Harlotte deserves more love so check it out!

Maybelline Brow Satin Duo $16.95
Maybelline Brow Satin Duo Dark Brown review
I know I give this one a lot of love but I had to include it in this month's favourites because I finally had to admit that my Anastasia Dip Brow had dried out this month so I have been using this one every single day instead. I actually more just use the crayon end, rather than the powder, but both are fantastic. I love that I can apply this boldly and precisely but easily blend it out and soften my brows by brushing through with a spoolie. It is incredibly quick and easy and I really do recommend checking it out if you haven't already. Keep any eye out for the regular Maybelline half price sales at Coles and Woolies where you can get it for less than 10 bucks!

Essence Make Me Brow $5.10
Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow gel mascara review
I actually picked this one up at the recent Priceline 40% off sale because my favourite L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper was sold out and I have been really impressed. Not only is it amazingly cheap, I actually think I might like this one more because the brush is so small and precise. It has thickening fibres in it to build up my brows a little and also has a gel consistency which helps to set my brows in place. I find it just gives me a really polished look and I really don't understand why people are paying so much more for the Benefit Gimme Brow ($39) or even the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper ($18.95) when this one is so flippin' good.

So there you have my favourites for the month. I would love to know what products you have been loving lately so please let me know in the comments below.
