Rimmel Magnif'Eyes Cream Eyeshadow Liner Duo
I'm a big lover of cream shadows so I was really excited to try these when they came out. As you know, I'm a big fan of the Maybelline Colour Tattoos but sometimes they can be a little messy, especially if I don't have a brush handy. These little cream sticks seems like the perfect mix of both long lasting cream shadows and easy application.

These come in four shades...

  • Back To Blacks - gun metal grey shadow and matte black liner
  • Kissed By A Rose Gold - rose gold shadow and brown liner
  • Queens of the Bronzed Age - bronze shadow and gold liner
  • Dark Side of The Blue - dark grey shadow and cobalt blue liner

I got the Queens of the Bronzed Age and Dark Side of the Blue to try out. The formula is amazing and since we were talking about the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, they are really quite similar. The longevity is similarly amazing and I also love using these as eye primer to really oomph up my shadows and create a bold colour base. This bronze shade with champagne shadow and brown smoked at the outer corner looks amazing. The packaging is basic but perfectly functional and I really do like the crayon applicator which makes things easier, but for a flawless finish it does still need some buffing out with a brush or your fingers in a pinch.

They apply very smoothly, especially after you buff them at the edges. Powder eye shadow also layers really well over the top. I will say that I found that the bronze shade a lot smoother to apply and blend than the grey though. The liner isn't fine enough to get a really tight line but for a smudgy finish, it is amazing. I also loved applying the gold liner shade in Queens of the Bronzed Age to my inner corner and centre of my lid. Also, considering these retail for $16.95 and are often on sale they are amazing value in my opinion, especially considering the quality and the fact that you get two shades.

My shade preference is definitely for Queens of the Bronzed Age and I definitely need to pick up the rose gold one too. If you see shades you would like in this range I would recommend you go for it because they are amazing.

So there you have my review of the new Rimmel Magnif'Eyes Shadow & Liner Duos. As you can probably tell, I really like these. They are great on the their own to create a whole look or under other shadows as primer to really oomph up the pigmentation. Will you be picking some of these up for yourself? Let me know in the comments below.

Stay Rosy.

  1. I've been trying the rose gold one and absolutely love it! So convenient and the formula is amazing. I also have the blue one which is completely out of my comfort zone, but I must say the cobalt blue is stunning!
