Favourite Everyday Pink Lipsticks

Friday, 18 March 2016
For me, lighter pink lipsticks are like my everyday nude. I wear them most days because they are low maintenance, go with most makeup looks and always look good with my skin tone with minimum fuss. Sometimes it can be hard to find the perfect everyday lipstick but if you are fair with a neutral undertone like me, I guarantee that these will get the job done. That said though, they are pretty universally flattering colours.

Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lipstick in 424 Edith $52
This would have to be my hands down favourite lipstick in my collection in both shade and formula. It is the most gorgeous rosy medium pink that has just the right balance of warmth. The hydrating formula is incredible too. It is smooth, quite long lasting and, like the name suggests, ultra hydrating. It might be expensive but it is completely worth it and I will definitely be buying more shades from this range.

Harlotte Lipstick in Peak-a-Boo $30
This is definitely my go to bubble-gum pink lipstick when I am feeling particularly girly. I have been a huge fan of the Aussie brand, Harlotte, for years since a makeup artist used it one my when I was a bridesmaid. The formulas are top notch and they lipsticks are a particular standout with so many gorgeous nudes and pinks. Even if this one isn't your jam, there are 12 nudes in their lipstick range so you can be sure to find one you like. This is one of those insanely underrated and under-recognised brands and I really recommend you check it out.

Pink Holiday Lipstick in Weekend in Como $21
I picked this one up on a whim at a Lulu & Lipstick pop up store and it turned out to be a really solid purchase. The Weekend in Como shade is a warmer medium pink that makes for a lovely nude. I love that this one has a gorgeous peachy nude undertone that works with so many different looks. My favourite way to wear this one is with the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in Pillow Talk ($35) and Rimmel Oh My Gloss! in Glossaholic ($13.95) for a seriously full looking nude pink pout.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme Cup $36
This is one of those insanely popular shades from the MAC lipstick collection and it is easy to see why. I went on the look out for a perfect soft pink lipstick without any shimmer and I came up with this. It is a gorgeous light blue toned pink that looks gorgeous on a lot of different skin tones. The cremesheen formula is great too. It's very smooth and comfortable to wear as an everyday lipstick.

MAC Frost Lipstick in Angel $36
This is another classic cult favourite MAC lipstick shade. Angel is a very blue tones light pink with shimmer that is still really subtle and wearable. Even though it is a frost formula, it is still really smooth and comfortable to wear as well. I adore pairing this with a baby pink blush, bronze eyeshadow (Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze is my go too) and tons of lashes for a feminine everyday makeup look.

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Lovelorn $36
This was one of the first MAC lipstick shades I really fell in love with it. It is another blue toned pink that is quite a bit darker and ever so slightly rosier and darker than Creme Cup. The lustre formulas are high shine with no shimmer and like all MAC lipsticks, it is incredibly smooth on the lips. I really think that this is a gorgeous MAC shade that doesn't get enough love!

So there you have the pink lipsticks that I reach for on the daily. Most of these end up rattling around in the bottom of my handbag by the end of the week. I absolutely always have at least one of these three on me because you really can never go wrong with a swipe of pink lipstick.

What are your favourite everyday pinks? Do you have any of these or will you be trying them after reading this review? Let me know in the comments below.

Stay Rosy.

  1. I love the look of these lipsticks! I think I am a everyday nude lipstick girl and reserve pinks for 'special days'! But something like a Rouge Coco shine is my favorite everyday slap-n-go lipstick!

  2. So gorgeous! It's always great to have 'easy' lipsticks on hand that go with any makeup look and are easy to apply in a rush! My everyday favourite is MAC Hot Gossip. :)
