Make Haircare

Wednesday, 17 February 2016
I have really been trying to make more of an effort with my hair recently. I always have makeup on, but I usually am a bit lazy when it comes to my hair. When it is this hot, using hot styling tools kind of feels like torture. These amazing haircare/styling products by Make have made that resolution so much easier to keep to though. With perfect simplicity and perfect results, these Make products really get it done.

Make Sleek Cream $21.95
For some weird reason, this one isn't on the Hairhouse Warehouse website but I assure you, they stock it in store. I have been obsessed with my Matrix Exquisite Oil Strengthening Treatment ($24) for years but I always find it works better in wet hair so I went looking for a light moisturising cream that is great for dry hair and came up with this. It came highly recommended by the lovely lady at Hairhouse Warehouse that helped me out and didn't disappoint. The formula is really light and doesn't weigh my hair down at all, but gives a lot of mositurisisation to make my hair look way smoother and healthier. If you find your ends can start looking a little dry and ratty, this is the one for you. I have also used this in wet hair too and it works a treat while also giving me a little bit of thermal and UV protection  so it is definitely a great multi-tasker.

Make Protected Spray $21.95
As simply as the packaging states it, this product is for styling not frying. It is exceptionally light and pleasant smelling. It also didn't weigh my hair down at all or leave it oily like some other protector sprays I've used. It just left my hair soft and protected which is exactly what we all want. I usually just use this alone when I straighten and curl my hair because it keeps things smooth, prevents heat damage and holds my style well. It is hands down the best protecting spray I have ever used.

These Make products are exceptional quality and really a bargain for the price. It is certainly among the most affordable and best quality salon brands and is a definite step up from drugstore haircare without having to break the bank. I will defintitely be trying more from this range. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Stay Rosy.

    1. Definitely check it out next time you are in Hairhouse Warehouse. Both times I have going in there looking for a particular type of product the ladies recommended Make and they were spot on.

Also, I think we all have an excuse to have slightly frazzled hair in this stinking heat!

  2. I really like the MAKE brand, I have the Sleek as well and it's great. Apart from that I've only tried some of their Shampoos and Conditioners, which are nice.
