New From L'Oreal

Friday, 17 July 2015
I was lucky enough to get sent a few of the gorgeous new products from L'Oreal. I have really been loving the brand recently and I'm happy to report that these new offerings are not different. I will be reviewing the new and insanely popular Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation, the Brow Artist Genius Kit and the False Lash Wings Intenza Mascara.

L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation in 24 Golden Beige $29.95
Unfortunately I am much to pale even for the lightest shade, let alone this one but I was sent this sample so I still wanted to let you know what I thought about the formula. It is a lot thinner than I was imagining for a long-wear matte foundation and I was really impressed by how well it applied and blended on my face. It also gives a really good coverage as well and sets quickly to a matte, powder like finish. I have very dry skin and I didn't find it snagged or caught in any of my drier areas which was nice but of course I might still recommend another foundation for really dry skin because a matte finish can make thinks look worse and I think prolonged daily use might dry out the skin more. I'm not sure how well it would wear on the oilier skins it is targeted to but the finish and application is pretty spot on so if you have combo/oily skin and can find a colour match I would definitely give it a go.

L'Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit $24.95
I have been obsessed with the Brow Artist Pumper gel for quite a while now so I was super excited when I saw this new offering. Also, good little brow kits like these can be really hard to come by in the drugstore, especially if you are looking for a wax and powder combo. The only other ones that come to mind are the Models Prefer ones and the colourings are plain awful. I'm always worried when I try brow products (especially cheaper ones) that they will pull too red but this one is great! The shades are lovely with good balanced undertones that would suit a wide variety of people and the kit also comes with a little set of tweezers which are quite good and a double-ended spoolie brow brush which I will admit is a little too small to work with but it is still good to have in the compact kit. The packaging is actually really cute and compact and I can actually see myself keeping this one in my bag for touch ups. The wax is a nice shade and sets my brows while the powder is similarly good and very easy to work with. I would easily say this is one of the best compact brow kits available outside of high end brands and certainly good enough to challenge most of the far more expensive ones. Definitely check this one out!
Bare brows. Please excuse the cloudy day.
Filled in for a full and natural look.
L'Oreal False Lash Wings Intenza $25.95
After being impressed with a few other L'Oreal Mascaras I was really excited to try this one out. It is one of the fiber effect mascara formulas similar to Maybelline Falsies but I am happy to report that this one doesn't set like cement like the Maybelline one and is actually possible to get off at the end of the day. That said though, it doesn't smudge at all and it lasted really well throughout the day. It gives a really good mix of length and volume and I was actually really happy with the effect. The only thing I didn't like was the brush. It definitely wasn't bad but it just didn't grab on to my lashes as well as other mascaras. All in all though, as you can see by the photos it is a really good mascara and definitely worth trying out.
Bare lashes (I have also used the Brow Artist Kit here).
2 coats.
Unfortunately none of these are available online yet but they are in store so get to your nearest Priceline, Target, etc to pick them up! Target also has 30% off all L'Oreal until the 29th of July. Will you be picking up any of the new L'Oreal products for yourself? I'd love to know your picks so leave me a comment below.

Stay Rosy.
