Lush Favourites

Tuesday, 10 February 2015
For some crazy, unknown reason I only just purchased my first ever Lush products and now I am constantly asking myself why the heck I waited so long. Unfortunately I don't have a bath tub (*tear) so my purchases are limited to the Lush lotions and potions but I managed to pick up a few that I absolutely love!

Lush Dream Cream Hand & Body Lotion 45g - $5.50
I'm pretty sure this is one of Lush's best sellers and I can see why! It is a lovely rich body cream that doesn't feel to sticky or oily on the skin. As an added bonus, it smells absolutely divine with ingredients such as oat milk, rose water, cocoa butter, chamomile, tea tree and lavender. With all those scents you'd think it might be overwhelming but it certainly isn't. This is also marketed for sensitive and "easily upset skins" so basically everyone can use it. I picked it up in the little 45g travel size tub for $5.50 to try it out and I was going to buy the bigger tub until I realised that it is actually cheaper buying it in the smaller tub (seriously wtf?). The bigger tub is $29.95 for 240g which works out to $5.62 per 45g. Long story short, considering the baby tub is only $5.50, why not give this gorgeous body lotion a spin?

Helping Hands Healing and Soothing Hand Cream 45g - $9.95
Again, I picked up the smaller quantity of this one too but mostly because it comes in a handy little pump bottle which I much prefer to a tub from my hand creams. I was actually really pleasantly surprised by this hand cream because it is the best hand cream I have used so far, except for the Burt's Bees Lemon Cuticle Balm which isn't really a cream. It is fairly non-greasy and contains super moisturising ingredients like linseed oil, almond oil, shea butter and honey with some lavender oil for fragrance. I have been applying this every night before bed and waking up with significantly soft hands plus the lavender oil is soothing right before I got to sleep.

The Kiss Lip Scrub 50g - $9.95
This is my most recent purchase from the Valentine's Day 2015 Limited Edition Range. I originally went in for the Bubblegum Lip Scrub but when I saw this one I simply couldn't resist. Not only does it smell AMAZING (and a little less sickly sweet than Bubblegum) but it has adorable edible hears and sprinkles mixed through it! In the past I have just used a toothbrush to exfoliate the dead skin from my lips but boy, was I missing out. My lips were crazy soft and moisturised (thanks to the almond oil and cocoa butter) straight after using this and I found all my lipsticks applied so much nicer, even days after I had used it. Seriously, if you have never used a Lush lip scrub get thee to thy nearest store! I love this particular one so much I'm thinking about picking up another one before they sell out forever even though this one is going to last me ages. It's that good!
Look at the little sprinkles! Aren't they adorable?
So there are my current Lush favourites! I am sure I will discover more as I try more of the range. What are your favourite Lush products that I should try next? Let me know in the comments below.

Stay Rosy.
